Acharya Dr. Pandit Vrajotsav ji is a multifaceted vocalist of Indian Classical Music in Khayaal, Dhrupad, and Dhamar. He is ‘Vaggeykaar’ means poet , composer, writer.
Panditji’s melodious voice and mercurious intricate fast taans up to three octaves is the major attraction of his gayaki. Vrajotsavji Maharaj sings very spontaneously and presents with Gamak oriented Taans, MeruKhand, Bal-Pench, Chutt-Sapaat, Phand, Humphit, Gumphit, Murchit, Kampit, Andol, Gitkari, Dhuran-Muran, Jam Jama, Khatka, Zarab, etc.
He is the direct descendent of Jagadguru Shri Vallabhacharya ji Mahaprabhu and he himself is Acharya of Jagadguru Vallabh Sampraday and Aacharya of Haveli Sangeet(Pushtimargiya Vallabh Sampraday Music) .
Under the guidance of eminent scholar and Murdhanya classical singer world famed Artist Padma Bhushan awardee Aacharya Dr. Pandit Gokulotsavji Maharaj (Founder of Sarvang Sampurn Gayki) who is not only his father but even Guru of Acharya Dr. Vrajotsavji Maharaj based on Guru-Shishya Parampara.
Acharya Dr. Vrajotsavji Maharaj inherited mystical knowledge of his Traditional Parampara of Prabandh Gaan, DwiPadi , TriPadi , ChatushPadi , ShatPadi , AshtaPadi, Haveli Sangeet, and Dhrupad Dhamaar .
Under the pen name of ‘Vrajrang Piya’, ‘Vrajrang’, ‘Gururang’, ‘Gururang Piya’ has Dr. Aacharya Goswami Vrajotsavji created more than 300 bandishes ,compositions in Khayal,Dhrupad, Rag malas, Tarana, Haveli pad, and Kavita.
Some of them are published in two biographical books 'Shastriya Sangeet Ke Surya ' and 'Shastriya Sangeet Ke Bahuayami Stambh' written by Indian Classical Vocalist Dr. Neeta Mathur (Associate professor at Delhi University) in various publications.
Creative Projects For Revival Of Ancient Culture
Pandit ji is also the scholar of SamaVeda (mother of all music) and Krishna Yajurveda.
Acharya Dr. Vrajotsavji performs ancient Vedic Somyagya with Samvedic Gayan around the length and breadth of the world with the aim of the revival of ancient Vedic Culture and Samvedic Gayan and has performed 50(fifty) Somyagyas.
